Sony CineAlta 4k PL
Sony’s new generation of PL mount prime lenses has been developed for its new CineAlta™ 4K cameras, the F55 and F5. Backed by decades of expertise in optical designing, these lenses ensure high resolution, excellent color rendition, low distortion, and mechanical durability. The addition of the F55 and F5 cameras and these high-performing yet reasonably priced prime lenses to the CineAlta product lineup makes Super 35 mm production more accessible than ever before.
These prime lenses have robust, metal housing. Focal lengths are 20, 25, 35, 50, 85, and 135 mm, all with an aperture of T2. All have the same front diameter and same lens length except the 135 mm lens. Geared lens rings are all in the same relative locations. They each have a 9-bladed iris, and the focus ring rotates 240°. With this consistency, you can concentrate on delivering a desired look without taking time to adjust and exchange lenses

Consistent T-Stop at T2
All six lenses have an open aperture of T2, which facilitates production in extreme low-light conditions. This also allows full control of selective depth of field, so you can shoot with shallow depth of field to get a beautiful bokeh.
4k Resolution, Minimized Distortion
Each lens is certified for 4K capture, while minimizing chromatic aberration, geometric distortion, vignetting, and breathing. Thus, the footage shot with these lenses will be well suited to chroma keys, and easily matched with computer-generated imagery.
Color Matching
Since advanced glasses are employed to ensure unified color characteristics, the whole set of prime lenses are carefully color matched. This saves you worrying about matching colors in post.
